Police Department

As sworn law enforcement officers and civilians, we strive to provide effective and reliable police services to the citizens, merchants, and visitors of our City. Together, we can identify and resolve issues that affect the safety and security of our community.

Chief Ryan Lemaire leads the Ocean Springs Police Department (OSPD). He directs operations with the assistance of a Deputy Chief, two Captains, and an Executive Assistant. This administrative team oversees patrol, traffic, investigations, animal control, dispatch, records, warrants, the reserve officer program, training, and accreditation.

Police Records Office

The Records Office is the first point of contact for OSPD visitors. Office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise posted. Records Clerks assist the public with obtaining copies of accident/crash reports, incident reports, local background checks, fingerprinting, and more.
